New Delhi: Grand mufti of India submitted a letter to honorable Maithripala Sirisena, the president of Sri Lanka in relation to the Easter day attack. The letter was handed over in a meeting with the Ambassador of UAE Ahmed L.S Khan at Sri Lankan Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The Grand Mufti wrote in the letter that In the attack, it was clear that the terrorists aspired to ruin the smooth and peaceful ambience of Sri Lanka and in turn create the country's living condition complicated. As the citizens of the very neighbouring country of Sri Lanka, we mourned, saddened and prayed to the Almighty Allah to save your country from such terrorists for days after the deadly attacks. Terrorists behind the deadly attack in Sri Lanka are enemies of humanityThose such extreme inhumane ideologues is a threat to the whole world and thus all the persons involved in Massacre should be captured and given the hardest punishments. No religions support such barbarians. Indian Muslims support the Government's effective investigation process.
Ambassador Ahmed L.S Khan assured he will hand over the letter to the president soon, and expressed his happiness in visiting the Grand Mufti. He said as a neighbouring nation, Sri Lankan Government keeps a good relationship with the Citizens of India. The government acknowledges issues of security very seriously and the investigation is going on extremely potent. Every innocent citizen of the country will be protected by the country and whoever want to make tensions will be punished. Dr A.P Abdul Hakkim Azhari, the director of Jamia Markaz Calicut, accompanied the Grand mufti in the meeting.
